JBL VRX at the Basque Cultural Center in San Francisco, USA.
A JBL VRX rig was chosen for an installation at the Basque Cultural Center in San Francisco. Christopher writes: “2 per side was great for this venue. The room was shallow (50 feet) and very wide (90 feet). The VRX were spec’d because their coverage was excellent. Interesting aspect: they wanted to be able to put a mixer at FOH and on the stage. Many Basque and French/Spanish groups come through that often want to mix themselves from the stage so we split installed the wiring with a mult. The subs are 2x VRX918s and are stashed under the stage below each micro array. The console at the venue is an APB Dynasonics. The client was very happy with the system.”
