The front page of live sound. By the crew, for the crew, since 2009.

About PA of the Day

PA of the Day started in 2009 as a place for live sound people to show off their rigs on our Facebook page: big systems, little systems, professional and amateur. This is still the heart of PA of the Day.

The page grew on Facebook through the years, and the Instagram account started in 2015.

Todd Herrbach owns and runs PA of the Day. He spent his career primarily as a house engineer, mixing events and managing venues. Most recently, he was the Lead Audio Engineer for the Orlando Magic, managing the audio needs for the team and the audio systems throughout the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.

This website has been a goal for many years. Today's technology let him build on the original idea of industry submissions, and curate the latest news that matters to the industry. paoftheday.com is the place to see posts from the old Facebook page, submit YOUR PA of the Day, and stay current with the latest news.

AI does the research and the first drafts. It checks industry news sources and drafts headlines. It reads the photos and words in each submission and flags what may need a closer look for rights or safety. It drafts a short description of each photo for people using screen readers. It may help fix punctuation when asked, but it never rewrites what you sent. A human calls the shots: reviews every piece, edits the headlines and descriptions as needed, and decides what goes up. Nothing gets published without that call.

If you've got a rig worth bragging about or a link worth reading, send it in.
