The zero-budget charity rig that raised over £1000 for cancer research

Before you build anything like this, read our safety notice.
"These two photos are of the rig I managed to cobble together this year for an event that has only run twice so far, this year and last. Both years we have raised well over £1000 for cancer research and as a result have had zero budget for PA. Therefore I was very happy to have been able to provide them with this 5.4KW rig. For tops I am running 2x Yamaha SV115IV 15" a side from the Peavey PV-2600 giving me 900W a side, 450w into each driver which is sitting them nicely within their RMS power (500w). Lows I'm running a Behringer B1800 Pro 18" active at 1kw, daisy-chained with nothing more than an XLR patch into a dB Technologies Sub 15 D 15" at 800w. The other side has the same. As for mix control I'm using a Yamaha mg32/14fx and for monitors 3x Db opera 402s and a drum fill from an old behringer passive 400 bass bin and a JBL JRX 12" top, however the drum fill didn't really work very well! Thanks for having a look and if anyone has any tips/pointers/comments/praises all greatly appreciated!" Originally featured on the PA of the Day Facebook page, September 20, 2014.
