"Saturday 8th August saw us deploy a flown Martin Audio W8LC system for the Firework Champions event at Belvoir Castle in Nottinghamshire, UK. The site is 300m wide and 200+m deep, the PA system is flown from two cranes 60m apart with a carefully designed Bass Array. Coverage for the 10,000+ strong audience was achieved using 24x W8LC, 12x WS218X and 2x W8LCD for Centre Fill. 4x FFA-10000 & 4x FFA-4004 DSP Amplifiers were utilised for the main PA Arrays with 3x FFA-10000 & 1x FFA-4004 used for the Centre Fill and Bass Array. Audio from the firing site comes 300m across the River Devon using our custom built battery powered Wireless Link System, with 4 independent Firework displays and companies who all have different systems/set-ups we have a tool box of different equipment to facilitate this along with passive switchers to allow for a seamless switch over between displays. The FWC now has a total channel count of 18 inputs and 9 outputs which is a fair amount for a Firework display." Originally featured on the PA of the Day Facebook page, January 18, 2016.
